Lisa Bongi reviews ‘Snakes on a Plane’

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 8:00 pm

Lisa Bongi has 2 questions.

Who is Samuel L Jacksons’s agent?

Does this person have no shame?

Lisa Bongi has just seen ‘Snakes on a Plane’. Don’t make the same mistake.

This is 105 minutes of your life that you’ll never be able to retrieve.
I NEVER - not even for one second - felt any empathy for the unfortunate passengers. The editing and pacing is terrible; there’s no suspense at all. It takes 20 minutes of dull travelog to get everyone onto the plane and then the audience just spends the rest of the film wondering which cardboard-cutout passenger is going to be bitten next.

This should not be on public display. The sad, pathetic wreckage that used to be Samuel L Jackson’s career deserves a more respectful and dignified memorial.
Perhaps Jackson could star in the next Muppets movie? I’d pay to see “Muppets meet Shaft” - you’d have to pay ME to watch ‘Snakes’ again.

LISA BONGI RATING: 2 OUT OF 10 (and only because the snake-eye-view camera was interesting)
